The bamboo cover is noticeably softer than my old cotton one, and the waterproof layer underneath doesn’t make it crinkle or feel plasticky at all. I’ve slept on it for two weeks now and it stays cool through the night, even with the AC off.
I've spilled water on it twice already and the pillow underneath stayed completely dry—that waterproof layer actually works. It's also softer than my old cotton cover and I don't wake up with a sweaty head anymore.
